    Can you delete Windows fonts?

Windows 10 is bloated with a lot of fonts, which aren't even in english... You can't delete fonts in Windows 10, it prevents you to do it. I heard there is workaround, if you remove some value in registry, than it allows you to delete them. Question is... is it risky? I mean it is just fonts and i don't mean to delete any, except these weird symbols and asian ones... Could this damage windows?

    Thanks!

If fonts are installed for all users then they have to be deleted or uninstalled by an administrator, but doing so is not risky:

They'll be installed again on the next upgrade.

Might check this page for a possible solution:

An issue with the number of Fonts is the ability to change languages plus many programs will install their own such as for publishing or graphics, word processing. The possibilities have increased mightily since back in Windows 3.1 days.

The net gain in disk space would negate the effort.

For example, on a current 2004 system, fully patched, the total disk space used in C:\Windows\Fonts is 416 MB.

You would be better off running Disk Cleanup on a regular basis, if space is a concern.

Doing frequent disk image backups is a good plan in reducing risk, in case something goes sideways making changes to a system.

On this rather plain Notebook the Fonts folder contains 582 Fonts with a folder size of 418MB, not much resources being used.

Only program I know that routinely complained with too many Fonts was Microsoft Works 9.x and earlier was when having more that 500 installed [which still works on Win10]. The program still worked, just had to complain.

    Fonts can be deleted.
This will free space in a non-windows partition (for example EFI partition).

So if you want to free up space in the primary partition see this link:

If the computer boots BIOS UEFI and you still want to uninstall fonts that can be performed.
