Why has my Laptop suddenly started running slow

Why has my laptop (Samsung Series7 ULTRA) suddenly started running very slow?
e.g.
- opening Firefox takes 12 seconds (with no tabs open)
- opening Google Chrome takes about 12 to 20 seconds
- opening Outlook takes about 23 to 30 seconds
- Even CLOSING outlook can take 10 seconds

Basically, everything I do seems to have become incredibly 'laggy'.

Background
- My hard disk still has plenty empty space: 136GB of free space (out of 451GB on 512GB SSD)
- I have run C: [properties] ==> Error Checking ==> but it found no errors
- It has all the latest patches. It started running very, very slowly about 2 weeks ago.
- I have run Samsung Magician
- I never run any games
- Out of desperation I have uninstalled everything I don't need (using RevoUninstaller)

What should I do?

I am on cable.

Ping: 28 ms
Download: 38Mbps
Upload: 9.7Mbps

Fwiw, I regularly clear out my browser caches using CCleaner.

PS Interestingly when I run the same test on my desktop (a faster spec, newer machine) all the graphics on that website interface run MUCH faster, but the download speeds seem only slightly faster...

OK I did all that, including I have disabled all the applications in Task Manager ==> Start-up.
However now there is no sign of my Anti-Virus software "F-Secure SAFE" on the bottom right of my screen.

Firefox and Chrome and Excel now all takes less than 5 or 6 seconds to open, however Outlook still takes about 20 seconds to open. And I don't dare use it until my Anti-Virus software is definitely running properly again.

UPDATE:
I have re-enabled a few things including Samsung Magician, however Samsung Magician is now throwing error messages.

Uninstall F-Secure using the applicable uninstall tool:
Support tools | F-Secure

Make sure Microsoft Defender is on.

After troubleshooting has completed you can reinstall F-Secure or continue using Microsoft Defender.

UPDATE:

OK I uninstalled and re-installed Samsung Magician.

I then uninstalled F-Secure SAFE using Revo Uninstaller (because F-Secure didn't provide any better way of doing so). I immediately re-downloaded F-Secure and it now appears again at the bottom right of my screen.

I ran Tuneup.bat earliers today. However I couldn't work out how to copy the text on the RUN window that pops up, so I am running it again.... VERY irritating. It got to the end but as soon as I click Control/C the Run window disappears. [GRRR]

I am now re-enabling various things in the Task Manager's Start-up tab...
Btw, do we think "EDT Control Center" should be safe?

12) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread
