Laptop hangs unexpectedly

Good day,
Hope everybody is safe and sound.

I would like to request your help to resolve the issue. My laptop hangs unexpectedly. I am unable to find the exact cause of the fault. Lately, the frequency of hangs have increased a lot. This being my home cum work laptop also has hampered my office work to a great extent. I have to hard reboot again to use it. The task mgr. also doesn't show up. The system totally becomes un responsive.

I updated the drivers & windows, but still the issue persisted.

I am attaching herewith below logs for your perusal.
1.dxdiag file.
2. logs from 13.04.2020 from event viewer
3. logs from 12..04.2020 from event viewer
4. logs of similar hangs (unresponsiveness) from event viewer.
5. Winver v1909 (18363.752 build)
I use win defender antivirus only. scan show no malware/virus.

Kindly advise if additional data is needed.

Hello ram93,

Just looking at your system specs, I see that you have only 4GB of RAM and that some of that seems to be used by your laptop graphics. As a first step, I would look into increasing the RAM to a minimum of 8GB.

I try not to run Windows 10 on any device with less than 8GB of RAM. Only ever had poor performance if under 8GBs.

Of course, seeing that the error code is a 41, this might mean a power supply problem, too.

True that win10 works best with 8gb ram. However, many old laptops have win10 installed and they perform well.

Regarding the power issue, could it be that since I am doing a hard reboot; as windows has hanged; the error code shown is 41?

Hmm....I see in the zip file a report of the couatl.exe process after which the CPU is shown to be throttled back because the system firmware has limited the processor speed. Two questions: 1.) have you scanned your system for viruses; 2.) is the system getting hotter than normal?

Couatl.exe is a process of fsx gsx software. When I run fsx, I activate the high performance mode and run the fsx. However, fsx runs smoothly without any problems, not even hanging. Once, I am finished playing fsx, I close fsx and change to power saver mode. It is normal in high performance mode for system to heat up since day1 of the laptop. It is normal.
However, the hanging occur in any mode used when used for everyday purpose.
Defender shows no virus or malware.
