    1) Open the windows advanced troubleshooting menu on the computer or by using a windows 10 iso

    2) If you open the windows advanced troubleshooting menu on the computer type:
    chkdsk C: /r /v

    3) If you open the windows advanced troubleshooting menu on the computer type:
    bcdedit | find "osdevice"
    record the partition drive letter
    type: chkdsk W: /r /v
(change the drive letter to the partition drive letter displayed in the earlier step)

    4) Example:

Open the widows adanced troubleshooting menu command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    chkdsk C: /r /v
This may take hours to run so plan to run overnight.
Run on all drives using the syntax: chkdsk /r /v C: or chkdsk /r /v D: changing the drive letter to the applicable drive.

    C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk C: /r /v
The type of the file system is NTFS.
    Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

    Type: Y
    reboot

    5) Use the information in this link to find the chkdsk report in the event viewer.
Copy and paste into notepad > save to desktop > post into the thread using one drive or drop box share link:
Read Chkdsk Log in Event Viewer in Windows 10 Windows 10 Performance Maintenance Tutorials

    6) Update the specs in the "My Computer" section:

After clicking it you can find a link a little below that says 'Update your System Spec', click on this link to get to the page where you can fill in your system specs.
System Info - See Your System Specs - Windows 7 Help Forums

Include PSU. cooler, case, peripherals and anything attached to the computer by wired or wireless (mouse, keyboard, headset, printer, xbox, USB wireless network card, etc.)

    7) Once you can open windows:

    8) Run HD Tune (free version) (all drives)
    HD Tune website
Post images into the thread for results on these tabs:
    a) Health

    Both should be performed.
The HD Tune tests can be performed now > post images of the results into the thread

Run the chkdsk switches overnight > post the report into the thread

Can I run chkdsk by just typing cmd in search button and run as administrator and type those commands above?

Chkdsk can be run using administrative command prompt.
Running it in this fashion the % rises to a low number in the teens and remains there until completion.
In contrast using Windows Recovery Enironment (RE) typically displays ETA.
If you plan to run it for an undetermined time then use administrative command prompt and start in the late evening.

The error scan can take hours.
Similarly the chkdsk switches can take hours.
When available post images / results into the thread.
