    Is it safe to clean $Recycle.Bin under systemprofile?


    Hi guys,

    WinDirStat discovered several gigabytes of files in $Recycle.Bin under systemprofile folder.

    Is it safe to clean $Recycle.Bin under systemprofile?-recyclebin_systemprofile.jpg

    Please advise if it is safe to delete them or it potential can break the system.

    What happens if you empty the recycle bin (right click on it, select Empty)?

    I wouldn't like to do that unless I'm absolutely sure it won't break the whole system.

    Although this question and answer is a bit old I think the advice given by Brink (forum admin here) is still relevant:

    I often use TreeSizeFree to delete old folders like this with no ill effect

As you can see it shows a lot of stuffs that need to be cleaned in Registry. Is it safe to clean it the whole or maybe I could choose to clean the non system registries only or something?
