    Need help with reading WPR data


    I am having a problem with slow boot when i restart my PC. I tried all suggestions and methods that i could find on google but none is helping. So i recorded my boot trace with Windows Performance Recorder, but i cannot manage with the data and i cannot read from it to see what is wrong.
    Can some one help me with these please?

    Hi, it seems that didn't record what is needed. Can you please try again using these options?

    History: When did this start? Do you know what led to this problem? For example:

    - did you receive a Windows update?
    - did you receive a Windows feature update (upgrade to a new build)?
    - did you make some change to your system?

    When you say the boot is slow, are you referring to
    a. boot to lock screen
    or
    b. login to desktop and PC becoming available for use?

    Please contrast what your boot time was, and what it is now- what difference do you observe?

    What sort of system disk do you have?

    What is your Windows build?
    Windows key + R, winver

    Please download and run this tool and post the result:
    Download InSpectre - MajorGeeks

    Any other material fact, indication or idea you have could be helpful.

    There are several threads on this forum where the Windows Performance Recorder is used and slow boot is reported. Please search the forum for

    Thanks Dalchina for answering.

    I did a recording with these settings that you post in the picture. What do you think that is not right with recording?

    Problem started a while ago, i cant remember exactly when.
    My system is allways up to the date. I will post picture with updates that i recived.
    I did not make any significate changes to the sys. only installing apps.

    Problem of slow boot is refered to a boot to lock screen and time is 5:50 ,after that lock screen to desktop goes smoth without a delay. And when it goes to desktop i open task manager and find disk usage 100% for abouth 15-30.sec.

    I have HDD seagate barracuda.

    Thanks- the second boot is a bit faster. I've looked at both- the first trace was ok- sorry about that.
    Nothing stands out, but if you ask member zinou to help, zinou has looked at a lot more of these.

    2- 3 mins to lock screen isn't unreasonable with a HDD.

    Meanwhile you can try:
    - checking there's no BIOS update
    - disabling fast startup
    - ensuring there's no malware

    Summary: 7200rpm Seagate Barrucuda, build 1803.
    Not affected by Meltdown update.

    No previous 'good' time quoted for reference.
    Problem started an indeterminate time ago.

    Suggest slower boot may be associated with disk transfer rate.

    Your Windows version is a cracked one. Sorry, can't do a troubleshooting.

    Yes it is. Slow boot problem only appears when i restart pc. So i presume that is some process/proces that is slowing the booting or it is a malware/virus (i scanned C: particion with malwarebytes and eset online scan.)

    I can reinstall windows, but i am courius to see what can is slow my boot when restarting pc to frustration. When i turn on pc it boots to desktop in 15-25.sec.

    If you have some opinion you are welcome.
