This was a used computer so when we went to perform a reset Windows 10 somehow got corrupted and now I’m stuck on the error Recovery, file Windows\system32\winload.efi missing or corrupted. I’m have Windows 10 on a usb drive however I cannot get the computer to recognize it. Please help!!

How did you create the Windows 10 USB flash drive?

    1) What is the status of the files on the computer?
    a) there is a backup of files on another drive?
    b) there is a backup image?
    c) there is no backup and files need to be recovered?
    d) there are no important files on the drive and a clean install can be performed?
    e) was the reset that was performed a reset with save files or a reset with remove files?

    2) had any of the hardware been tested?
    3) how many drives are there on the computer and had they been tested?

    4) Please update the specs in the "My Computer" section:

    U can try:

    1) chkdsk /r X: - when X: is ur partition with system.
    2) sfc /scannow sfc /offwindir=X:\windows /offbootdir=Y:\
or only for this one file:
    sfc /scanfile=X:\Windows\system32\winload.efi /offwindir=X:\windows /offbootdir=Y:\

(everywhere X: is ur partition with system)
Y: is partiton with boot system files, can be same like x (probably c: )

U can use Startup Repair too.
