Unlike a lot of registry changes under \Software\Policies\, the one I provided is dynamic with no sign out/sign in or reboot needed. I tested toggling it on and off several times before attaching it.Access Denied said:
The only thing that is needed is to change to another category in 'Settings' (e.g. 'Sound' or 'Focus assist') then back to 'Notifications & actions' again as 'F5' doesn't refresh 'Settings'.
@Cerawy... before I provide an 'undo' REG file, I need to know if the *Some settings are hidden or managed by you organisation. message is present at the top of Notifications & actions. (f yes then it's a policy setting... but your 'My Computer' details in your forum profile show you're using Win 10 Home... so no 'Policy Editor'.)
EDIT: It's 4 am here so I'm going to bed.

I don't see a message like that, but i do see a message that says select a sender to see more settings. Some senders might have their own notification settings. If so, open the sender to change them.

Ah, then it's not a policy setting.
Download and run the following REG file to undo the changes made by the first one.
System - Notifications & actions - REMOVE changes to toggle state.reg
Once the file has been merged into the registry, click on another category in the left-hand navigation pane then click back on Notifications & actions again for the change to take effect.
Can you provide a screenshot? I'm confused which toggles are greyed out.
Have you seen this article: How to Turn On or Off Showing Notifications in Action Center in Windows 10
The options are still greyed out.
I think your own screengrab shows some of it.
I got five messages that are greyed out.
- Autoplay.
- Show notifications on the lock screen.
- Show alarms, reminders and incoming VOIP calls on the lock screen.
- AutoPlay.
- Security and maintenance.
Im guessing some of them would get rid of the annoying popup messages.

My apologies...
By 'Can you provide a screenshot?', I meant a screenshot of what you are seeing on your affected system, not a screenshot taken from a TenForums tutorial.
Sadly, i cant give you a better screengrab, because my version of windows is in a completely different language. But i have listed the five options that are greyed out in my previous post.

Language doesn't matter, we can infer what it should be if we know what page you took a screenshot of. A picture shows more than words can say.
