    Hi,

If you'd like tips on how to speed up Windows then we're going to need more details about the hardware you're running it on.

First time I hear this. Agreed that it doesn't do all that much but then it doesn't cause any havoc either.

Yes, would be much better if we had some idea what you are running and on what. Otherwise, it's just throwing out random "try this". Take a few moments to fill out your system specs as best you can. Thanks.

CCleaner has its place on my machine, it's the only way to selectively delete cookies in Edge and IE. Unlike other browsers, Microsoft only offers an 'all or nothing' delete option.

Plus it deletes cookies and the cache for all browsers at once (in all profiles for those browsers, if you use more than one). Disk Clean-up only clears Edge/IE, you'd have to separately open each of your other browsers and all their profiles to delete their temporary intenet files.

The 'havoc' can be caused by using its registry cleaning - avoid that and it's safe to use for junk file removal.

Hmm, Windows 10 runs fine on my Machine i think i don't need any tweaking, or speed-ups tricks :/ its already fast enough :P
But what about Bleachbit (Portable version) is that good enough to? or should i Download ccleaner (hate it) or should i manually clean out my Windows 10 (with Disk clean up tool, and other inbuilded tools in Windows 10 to clean up the OS)?

But still you ask - tempted by the Dark Side are you? :)

I don't use BeachBit, just CCleaner (and then only for junk file removal). BleachBit's main selling point seems to be security, it doesn't just remove unwanted files, it claims to Delete your private files so completely that "even God can't read them" (CCleaner can also 'secure wipe' your free space).

The main benefit of a 'clean up', using MS or 3rd-party tools, is to free up disk space. I routinely use Disk Clean-up for that purpose. If in addition you use its 'clean up system files' option and clean up the windows update backups there may be some small improvement in the time it takes to check for and install updates, you'd also benefit from freeing yet more disk space.

As I said before, CCleaner (and others) can remover more junk than Disk Clean-up, mainly because it can clear the temporary internet files for all browsers, not just the MS ones.

Use common sense and clean/tweak responsibly, whatever size hammer you choose to use. Do regular backups, particularly before any big urge to deep-clean. Otherwise, you may clean yourself into a .
