Would u mind doing a mod for me? :O
    Attachment 230538
Remove the bottom bar, the green line that goes up and over the "version" and also the version?
And also replace it with the blue windows start button you used in the last picture?
    Hello Polo6RGTI !
I was hoping you could do a tiny mod for me? Could you simply change the color of the text from the unreadable blue on the left to white? Latest MSI Afterburner Betas & Updates-capture.jpg

The original Touch of Modern is great except for one thing. The blue text on the left of the GPU Temperature graph is unreadable. Could you please change it to white?Latest MSI Afterburner Betas & Updates-capture.jpg

In fact, this is very simple, you can do it yourself if you want.
Right-click on the afterburner executable and select send to desktop (create shortcut).
Right-click on shortcut and select properties, in the field Target after the quotation marks give a space and enter the command
    -ds MSIModern,te6Xfjz3 and press OK.
Double-click on shortcut and an MSIModern folder with all the skin's files was created in the C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner\Skins.
Now just edit the "header" file with Windows Notepad. In the PLACEHOLDER_MON_WND line, change the value "ff0000h" to "ffffffh", these are the colors in hexadecimal format, ffffff is the value for white. To edit and save this file you will need special administrator privileges, the programs files folder is protected. You can also copy "header" file to the desktop, edit and paste again in the folder replacing the file.
Finally, now just recompile the skin.
In the shortcut, delete the command -ds MSIModern,te6Xfjz3 and enter the command -cs MSIModern.
Double-click on the shortcut, restart afterburner and that's it.

MSI AB 4.6.5 beta 6 Build 16370 is out: MSI AB / RTSS development news thread | Page 198 | guru3D Forums

    · Added NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40x0 series graphics cards support
    · Added voltage control support for GA103 and GDDR6x based versions of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti
    · Added AMD RADEON RX 7900 series graphics cards support
    · Added total board power monitoring support for AMD RADEON RX 7900 series graphics cards
    · Added some future AMD and NVIDIA GPU PCI DeviceIDs to hardware database
    · Added Intel Arc GPUs support to hardware monitoring module. Please take a note that Intel Arc GPUs overclocking and tuning is currently not supported due to Intel hardware control API support limitation to x64 applications only
    · Added experimental support for Intel 13th generation CPUs
    · Added experimental support for AMD Ryzen 7xxx CPUs
    · CPU usage data sources in hardware monitoring module have been switched to alternate implementation based on NtQuerySystemInformation(SystemProcessorIdleInformation), because traditional legacy idle time reporting in NtQuerySystemInformation(SystemProcessorPerformanceInformation) is broken in current Windows 11 22H2 builds
    · Added workaround for broken fixed fan speed programming API (Overdrive 5 compatible fallback path) for old Overdrive 7 GCN GPUs on 22.5.2 and newer AMD drivers
    · Added config file switch for disabling native reliability voltage control API on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 9x0 series graphics cards and forcing legacy P-state 2.0 voltage control API usage on such hardware. Power users may use this switch to bypass voltage control lock on NVIDIA Maxwell series graphics cards on release 515 and newer drivers families
    · Improved correction formula parser with data format conversion, rounding and min/max functions support
    · Added OCMailbox based bus clock frequency monitoring for Skylake and newer Intel CPUs. Unlike traditional legacy timestamp clock based bus clock frequency estimations, OCMailbox provides support for overclocked BCLK monirtoring. Please take a note that access to OCMailbox is blocked by design of OS when HVCI is enabled
    · Improved SMART.dll monitoring plugin. Added temperature monitoring support for NVMe devices, including the secondary controller temperature for some Samsung NVMe drives
    · Default clock frequency limit of voltage/frequency curve editor window has been extended to 3.5GHz. Please take a note that you may still customize the limits via config file if necessary
    · Update server location changed to new URL inside update checking system. Old update server location reached EOL
    · RivaTuner Statistics Server has been upgraded to v7.3.4:
o New version’s changes list is huge, it includes more than 100 compatibility enhancements, changes and new features. We continue improving OverlayEditor plugin and the most of improvements are related to it, we strongly recommend you to try it if you still use legacy MSI Afterburner’s On-Screen Display output functionality
o New version also includes upgraded DesktopOverlayHost utility, which can be used to display overlay right on your Windows desktop or on small external display mounted inside PC case similar to AIDA64’s SensorPanel

I found the config file setting named "PS20RelVoltageControl" which was set to 1. I set it to 0 and restarted Afterburner and confirmed I am once again able to increase Core Voltage on my GTX 960 using current drivers.

    THANK YOU!

Hellows Afterburner gurus, I can see they added bunch of options for later AMD GPUs. In the past I had problems controlling my older AMD cards like R series 280, 380 and even Rx 470 and 570, but now I have Rx 6600XT but I'm disappointed with Adrenalin so would like to try with Afterburner so have some questions.
Is it working properly with AMD cards now ?
Other makers beside MSI (mine is Gigabyte RX 6600 XT Gaming OC PRO 8GB) ?
What to do with Adrenalin SW ?
A: Install only AMD drivers without Adrenalin ?
B: Enact Factory Reset to defaults in Adrenalin SW ?
C: Leave it as it is with custom settings ? Would Afterburner override Adrenalin and/or other way around ?
    Edit:
Installed only AMD drivers and then latest Afterburner and it's not doing anything at all. Tried undervolting first, nothing, still shoving default voltage, up to 1150mV. Tried OC memory, still nothing. Same with any other settings. Can't move abything in Curve Editor.

Hi Mike, sorry I'm on Nvidia but I use AB because it just works better. I only install the Nv video driver and then AB without RTSS, it recognizes the RTX card and loads accordingly.
PM Cliff, he knows all the ins and outs.

Hi Cliff, I forget does RTSS need to be running for the skin to display these bar charts in the lower left corner?
