Thoughts on This Build Combo

    Well, now that I built the system I have 1 problem, sort of. It takes 40 seconds to boot. On another forum someone asked if this video card has UEFI support and it does not. The new board has a UEFI BIOS. So it has to load the CSM (Compatibility Support Module) during the POST process in order to boot with this card, so it could be taking some seconds longer to load the extra stuff. Does that sound logical? The video card itself does work just as well as it did before though.

    The only other possibility was that the G.Skill Aegis ram isn't the best fit for this system BUT it runs very stabile and does not crash at sleep mode like my old one did, so I'm not leaning toward ram being an issue. The long POST time happened right from the very first power-up with a bare drive - no windows installed.

    Than it`s the motherboard doing its tests, it`s totally normal.
