Where have you been? Mike's been posting benches all over the place for a few days. Dude will have a real headache when he comes back. Just a few for you

I know you are a sandbagger. I figured you had a few "extras".

Congrat's on the new card Oldmike. Been a bit busy doing some thing or another and missed the news.

How is the card? Does it differ from the EVGA 1080 Ti FTW3 much? (excluding the extra performance of course.) How is fan noise? An improvement over the previous card or about the same?

This card is a lot different than my 1080Ti card, uses completely different software to OC , its takes up 3 slots in my case, much thicker for cooling ....fan noise is loud just like my old 1080Ti when I am oc'n .....quiet when I'm not....but I've never worried about fan noise....you want a quiet rig...then don't overclock.
Big improvement over my older card..... but I knew that before I bought it.

Nice! Does the thicker heatsink give better cooling/temperatures? That is something that interests me a lot on that card... The fans are pretty good on these EVGA cards. I game with the fans at 80% on my 1080 Ti FTW3. With headphones on and some volume I pretty much never hear them. When I do it is a white noise.

My temps never go over 61° ....avg would be around 57° when overclocking heavy.
