Today is a good day! I ordered this ThinkCentre last week and received this amazing machine instead! It has a 512GB M.2 Samsung PM981 NVME SSD as the primary drive! Total steal for $388! Lenovo does not want it back either. Told me to keep it. My intention had been to upgrade the A12 with a Ryzen 3 1300X and upgrade the RAM to 16GB and use it as a VM machine but now I don't really have to upgrade anything but the memory.
Honestly i would probably Sli if my Aorus wasn't so huge that seems a lot better than getting a 2080 or TI
By the time games will be available it will be worth it but first Gen looks to be the Stepchild of Nvidia right now even with Drivers and testing i doubt it will really give us the Consumers what we are really looking for
First time GPU buyers are going to be the one's getting Munsoned !
Hi,
Not sure how much but tariffs hit somewhere in the price
Doubt 200.us worth though

Personally I would like a Ryujin, but I need to wait until CaseKing gets it.
I don't have a dog in this fight. At this point, I have no intention of buying a 2080. When I own a game and my 1080 TI can't keep up, I may consider it.
But I can't believe how many people are getting so worked up over a "leaked" benchmark. Just because somebody says it was a 2080, you have no clue whether it is or not, or what drivers, what settings or whether it was a total fabrication. Maybe just click bait. Like a lot of you, I've been around these things for a long time and have seen more than my share of "leaked" benchmarks. Every single one of them I can recall were pure, unadultrated BS, one way or the other. The last I heard, Nvidia were the only ones that had a 2080 at the time of that leak. I can assure you if Nvidia leaked them, the scores would have been a lot higher than the ones we saw, whether it was true or not. Would anyone like a little wager that when the 'real' 2080's come out, the scores will be way different than the "leaked" ones? They may be better or may be worse, but they won't be close to what we have seen. Just be patient. Wait for the real benches. Then we will know what to complain about
As far as the pricing, and I don't know if I really believe this, but JayZ said the 2080 TI was the new Titan. There won't be a Titan, the 2080 TI is it. If that were true the 2080 would move up to the TI catagory. If, and that's a big if, that were true it would make the pricing pretty close to what prices were with Pascal. The Titan was $1200 and the TI's were around $750-$800, PM (pre miners). All of that sounds like a tall tale to me, but may be. Who knows.
