    \Device\HarddiskVolume3 svchost,exe = these were mentioned when I went to MS protection history and blocked
    I don't know if that helps.
    Could an unsigned driver be the cause as I previously tried to update my drivers for network and WD SCS.
    To get core isolation to work I had to use device manager>view>show hidden devices to rid remnants of the old WD external drives.
    Any of the above are only guesses as I am only an average user.

    I did disc check, removed MBAM and ran both full and offline scans which reported ok.
    Do I need to do clean install, leave as is, or use another scanner, or?
    Reinstall MBAM or another program like it?

    Edit: I reinstalled MBAM and ran a full scan = ok.
    I ran Defender both full ad offline = ok.
    I ran SFC = ok.
    I do not know if the type of error you found requires a clean install or keep as is?

    Sorry to be so late. I could not do as you suggested due o my average level
    I wanted you to know I did a clean installation , called Comcast, updated as necessary and even after all this ethernet still takes 15 seconds to reach the internet. I called my builder who said after all that he is stumped. I am still under warranty and am not sure how far to go with tis. Do you think going from cat 5 cables to cat 6 sables would help?

    Please download and save FRST 64bit or FRST 32 bit to your Desktop.

    Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool
    Right click to run as administrator (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File). When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
    Make sure that Addition option is checked.
    Press Scan button.
    It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from.
    Please copy and paste log back .
    The first time the tool is run it generates another log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST.exe/FRST64.exe).
    Make sure you post both files this scans for more faults and give us a better idea

    I am going to keep this info aside until I find out about the ISP-Comcast. They are working in this building of 800 people and we noticed the TV in the second room is doing the same thing as my Ethernet. I find that coincidental.
    Would you agree that issue should be resolved before any action taken
    I am very grateful and with your information aside till the issue is resolved with Comcast I will do it then if necessary.
    Please let me know otherwise and I will do it now if so instructed.

    Replaced cat5 with cat6a cable and ethernet has no lag-incorrect..
    The answer was too much load on one receptacle and now get 600 Mbps.

    I had my gateway replaced and that was he final solution. I now get the 600 Mbps I was supposed to get.
