Authentication name and password to backup external hard drives on net

    Hi all. Thanks in advance.

I am using Acronis 2020 to do system backups to external hard drives on my network connected via my Netgear router. The problem is that name and password authentication is required for the network from acronis before I can backup to these external hard drives. I do not have a record of the password.
Acronis says this is a Windows Issue.
    I am using Windows 10 x64.
Any idea as to reset the password or to find it?
    I am the administrator

Not following exactly but I think the external drives are being connected by USB to the Netgear router, correct.

Access your Netgear router with admin and password. Should be a tab for readyshare.

Yes external hard drives connected to Netgear router via USB. The router password does not work. Under readyshare tab in Netgear, says no password to read or write.

Yes. Reset router and the defaults will be loaded.

    Which Netgear do you have.

Pretty sure user can't be changed, should be admin all lower case.
