Since Build 17763.475 some clients and 2008R2 server not visible

Since this build some of my Windows 10 clients will not see other Win 10 clients. I cannot even see my Server. It is variable as some machines do not have the problem. Machines are accessable by Remote Access and \\computer_name, but are not seen under network explorer.

    Has anyone else seen this?
    Any suggestions?

    Hi Jerry

Likely SMB1.0 is disabled due to security risks.

This tutorial has a section on enabling and other items to check.

Tried activating SMB1 which worked for 1/2 hour then Network Explorer back to showing only some computers.
Turns out (you would have to be a fool to spend as much time as I did on this one, but I need Network Explorer working on my computer) that the problem is Malwarebytes newest version. MWAC.sys will occasionally interfere with DNS and the workstation name resolution. The solution seems to be adding the loopback address (127.0.0.1) onto the server (DNS) under the DNS server address. So far seems working.

Thanks for posting that solution. Hadn't seen that one.
