Accessing other pc's on home network.

I have 2 pc's running windows 10 pro, on my main pc File Explorer shows my 2 pc's in network but I can't connect with my second pc everytime, it always shows in file explorer but 95% of the time I get an error message, , Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found, 'Ive run Diagnose but Windows "couldn't identify the problem" My second pc doesn't show anything under Network in File Explorer.
I am trying to connect via ethernet.

In the tutorial posted by Samuria, make sure this has been done. It's important to do on all connected PCs.

After all machines have come up, it can take a bit (couple of minutes, max) for all the hand-shaking to occur and get recognized.

    Under:
    OPTION ONE

    3. Make sure the Function Discovery Resource Publication and Function Discovery Provider Host services are started (running) and their startup type is set to automatic.

Not trying to share users folders, I have several hdd containg music, videos photos etc.
After going through the various options my main pc still cannot access any of the hdd's on my 2nd pc but the 2nd pc can see all the hdd's on my first pc but cannot access any of them.
The hdd's I'm trying to access all have folders containg music, photos, video clips etc, each pc could access all the hdd's on each pc but for some reason this not now possible, I'm begining to think it may be linked to a Windows 10 update

I thought I had posted this on Wednesday, but apparently not. You may need to enable this component on all machines.
