Check Windows Services and make sure the following two services are Running and their startup type is AutomaticCan someone consolidate the steps in one post? It is unclear which steps worked. Thanks
Delay Function Discovery Provider Host (FDPHost)
Function Discovery Resource Publication (FDResPub)
See this tutorial - Share Files and Folders Over a Network in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials
Note:
1. With the two Function Discovery Services startup type set to Automatic Delay it can take a minute for shares to show in File Explorer > Network
2. Disabling IPv6 is a fix for intermittent network share connections and may or may not be needed. IF you do need to disable IPv6 - Enable or Disable IPv6 in Windows | Windows 10 Tutorials
3. MS recommends prefer IPv4 over IPv6 VS disabling IPv6 - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...advanced-users
4. IF you Disable IPv6 or Prefer IPv4 over IPv6 ... Reboot PC
Eagle51, thank you. This is much more digestible. I will give it a try. I have one PC out of 4 that cannot see one of the other 3 but all the others see all of the other 3 on the home network.
Update, On the PC that could not be seen, I changed Function Discovery Provider Host (FDPHost)
Function Discovery Resource Publication (FDResPub) from delayed to Automatic and started both service and bingo, all is good
