To all others - This is the diagram that the OP posted [within that pdf].

    Dave,

    What is stopping you?
    It's just a file.
If you mean that you cannot find it:
    In Outlook,
In its navigation pane, click on the folder icon to select its Folder view,
Right-click on the top-level folder [probably named with your email address], select Properties,
    General tab, Advanced button,
The ost file path is displayed there so copy the ost file path,
    Close Outlook,
Browse to the ost file path in File explorer,
    Delete the ost file.

    All the best,

    Thanks Denis
I could not find the ost but I have now ended up with this:

"The Microsoft Exchange admin has made a change that requers you quit and restart Outlook"

    Which does nothing!!!

    Dave,

This suggests a different method of finding it - Introduction to Outlook Data Files (.pst and .ost) - MSSupport
There's also this Locating Outlook data and configuration files - MSSupport

    Hi Denis

I have ended up going back to the begining via Macrium and using your first method which worked.

    So big thank you.

    Dave,

I'm glad it has been resolved.

I see that you've recently ended up in the same boat as me in that Office 2013 support has now ended. It ended for my Office 2007 about six years ago.
The only problem I have found so far is that there is some modern email element that Outlook 2007 cannot display and, since I use POP email, this does give me a problem.
    - I always have a missing block of text in seller message replies from Amazon. Those emails have a show online link so I just do that instead.
    - I miss the whole text in emails from WD. Their emails just appear as their logo followed by empty space. So, if I have to seek WD support, I temporarily change my email settings to leave a copy of the email on the server so that I can choose to look at problematic emails in my browser. When the WD conversation has stopped, I just revert to normal & clear out the emails left on the ISP's server.
Since you use IMAP [or EAC] email, your emails are still on the server anyway so you wouldn't need to go messing about as I do.

    All the best,
    Denis

    Welcome to TenForums.

It's really worth making time to browse through the Tutorial index - there's a shortcut to it at the top of every page.
    - At the foot of the Tutorial index is a shortcut to download it as a spreadsheet.
    - I download a new copy each month.
    - By downloading it as a spreadsheet I can benefit from Excel's excellent filtering capabilities when I search for topics of interest.
    - Tutorials are also listed by category at Tutorials - there's also a shortcut to that at the top of every page.
    - Both tutorial lists are searchable.
    - You can also search for TenForumsTutorials in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:tenforums.com/tutorials after your search term. For example,
    taskbar toolbars site:tenforums.com/tutorials

You can search TenForums using the search box in the top-right corner of all TenForums webpages or using Advanced Search - TenForums
    - You can also search TenForums threads in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:tenforums.com after your search term. For example,
Search for drivers by HardwareID site:tenforums.com
    - [This is what the search box in the top-right corner of TenForums webpages does automatically]
