OneDrive (Windows 10): .ico Files - No Thumbnail for Icon Pics

I see for every .ico icon file placed in the OneDrive folder, the thumbnail view which helps me identify the .ico file has disappeared. Instead it seems to be some generic icon. See attached. Is there some way to get the thumbnail view back for .ico files? It helps identify these icons. The .ico files display correctly (as thumbnails) on the desktop and in folders outside OneDrive. The problem seems to be in the OneDrive folder. Other image file icons (.jpg, .png, etc.) display properly with their thumbnail.

    Thanks!

    Hello @lwapner,

I have noticed that you have NOT had ANY replies, so I thought that I would try and help.

    - Right-Click on one of the Icons > Properties. Does it have Onedrive stated ?
    - This might help as well > Turn On or Off OneDrive PC Folder Backup Protection in Windows 10

    I hope this helps.

Change the view in File Explorer.
View tab > Medium, Large or Extra large. Those show the preview, smaller sizes the App icon.

Those are the Icon for the Photos App which means the *.ICO files are opened in the Photos App.

    They are not 'generic' icons.

Not a problem as such, it is how File Explorer works.
