    How make office 2010 files appear in recent file list and jump list


    Hi all, since I switched from Windows 7 to Windows 10, the recent files list is not updated neither in the app itself (File>recent) nor in the Start menu (from where I used to be able to pin files to the taskbar file icon) as seen in attached image 2.

    I also went to File>Options>Advanced where for some reason the 'Show this number of Recent Documents' is greyed out, and consequently not functional, see image 1.

    I would be much obliged for any and all help with this. Thank you.

I have File Explorer pinned to the task bar. The Jump List shows pinned folders and recently accessed folders only. It does not show recent or frequently accessed files. Is this normal behavior, or did I break something?
