Well, it's all over but the crying . . . by Microsoft, since I had to cancel my brand new subscription. I already have a sub that was given to me by an MVP, and I finally got that reinstalled, so I'm good for now.
Microsoft called this morning as promised, and after I told the rep I kept trying to install and inadvertently got my original MVP subscription installed, we discussed the situation further. In the end, she suggested that since I'm not having problems with the MVP subscription, and that since we cannot get the new subscription installed, I should just cancel the new sub until a solution is found for the installation problems so many folks are reporting for Microsoft Office Business Premium. She also told me the issue hasn't yet been expedited, but that it should be soon because so many are reporting installation issues.
I guess at this point, I should mark this thread as solved, although it's anything but!
