    Unwanted Warning/Notifications with Win 10

    Windows 10 Home Ver 1809 (OS Build 17763.864)

    I am getting notifications on a random basis on my screen, as per the attachment, that always are seeking to access a folder/file (not always the same) in the WindowsApp folder. I have changed ownership and securities for the WindowsApps folder to no avail. Thinking this was related to Windows Store I have also added a line in the Registry disabling it, also to no avail. I would appreciate any assistance.

    Thank you

    To reinstall Windows default apps in Windows 10, you need to do the following:

    1. Open Command Prompt as a administrator by pressing + X keys.
    2. Click Command Prompt (Admin).
    3. Within opened Command Prompt type below command and press Enter key:

      Code:
      PowerShell
    4. Type below command to reinstall all default apps that ship with Windows 8, 8.1 and Windows 10:

    Code:
    Get-AppxPackage –AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

    This tells Windows to install those default apps again. Give it some time and allow it to finish, even if nothing appears to happen at first. Even if you see an error message, restart your computer.

    If reinstalling default apps wont resolve the error message then execute following commands one at a time:

    Code:
    Dism /online  /cleanup-image  /Restorehealth

    Sfc /scannow

    Unwanted Warning/Notifications with Win 10

    FreeBooter, thanks for your assistance. Tried both steps as well as reducing the number of starting apps and, although the number of occurrences of the warning widows seems to have been greatly reduced, now only occurring on restart and wake, they are still happening. Do you have anymore ideas?
