Changing BIOS from Legacy to UEFI/BIOS so I can use Win 11 on this PC

    I can't believe on what I'm seeing. Linux, extract WinRE from Install.wim? This will never end.

    Stop. 180 posts and OP still hasn't the complete drive functions. And EFI partition is at the end of the drive and I guess it doesn't have a MSR partition that M$ claims it needs on a GPT drive.
    @therealsimpsons, I suggest you do the first option from #108. It won't take long and you will end with the correct partitions on the drive layout. If you wish to do so I can give detailed instructions and guide you though.

    EDIT:
    In Order to remove the irritating Label Entry of the old BIOS-BOOT on Disk 0 "System Reserved" you should reformat the 1st partition on disk 0:
    diskpart
    sel disk 0
    sel par 1
    format quick fs=ntfs
    exit
