How critical is unchecking this while creating a bootable USB?

I recently did the Media Creation tool with a USB stick and did a completely clean install of Windows 10 Pro.

I'm pretty sure I missed this step #7 about unchecking the "Use recommended options for this PC".Create Bootable USB Flash Drive to Install Windows 10

How critical is it to uncheck that option? What exactly happens when I leave it checked during the USB creation? Will I notice anything different if I had unchecked it?

Everything is running fine after the clean install, if that matters.

    Thanks for any responses,
    Steve in Central Vermont

"Use recommended options" asks MCT to auto-select the same install language, edition (Home vs. Pro), and system architecture (32-bit vs. 64 bit) as your current PC. Unless you have a special need, that's fine to ignore.

It's for folks who want to switch to a different version of Windows, and have an appropriate license key for it.

I has nothing to do with the edition Home vs. Pro of Windows. The MCT always creates an ISO file or USB flash drive containing nearly all editions of Windows from Home up to Education editions:

    Code:
    E:\sources>dism /get-wiminfo /wimfile:install.esd

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
    Version: 10.0.22000.1

    Details for image : install.esd
