Navigate to command prompt and type:
bcdedit
post the result

Backup from March has data needed. (Quicken, email etc) Backup from November boots but is formatted MBR. Computer is painfully slow once I received it back in March after repairs Was told it was hard drive but just as slow on SSD. Windows repair or restore point has never worked for me.
As I already wrote, all you have to do is to boot from the disk image program rescue drive and replace the new C: partition (that is on the EFI-GPT drive that you just did a clean install) with C: partition from your backup.
If you still have the drive that you deleted the two partitions it is quite simple to create a new EFI partition.
