PC skip booted USB and just run HDD

Hi there! I have problem, I have Windows 10 64bit OS, but unfortunately my PC i so bad and system is so slow. So I want to install Windows 10 32bit version, I hope then will be better. So, with Rufus I put ISO installation on USB. But when I want to install Windows, even if I set USB first in boot, PC just skip USB and normally start Windows. I do everything like few days ago when I installed 64bit version and then I set USB in boot and PC normally open installation on USB. Does anyone have any idea what’s the problem?

And do be aware that changing from 64-bit OS to 32-bit will require wiping the drive which will lose all the data on it.

I've always had to access the BIOS, either Esc, F2, Del or other key, depending upon the brand and model of the computer, to assure the USB is listed as available. Most BIOSes support USB 2 but until the last few years not USB 3 until the OS loads drivers for it.

You expect that a 32 Bit system is faster? A SSD-Disk would be a good investment! Meanwhile they are cheap.

Please edit your profile with ALL your hardware specs. It will help us to help you

Windows 10 32bit version is only recommended if you have 4 G of memory or less. If you have more than 4 G of memory, you must use Windows 10 64bit or it won't access more than 3.2G of memory.

    Don't use Rufus.
You probably selected UEFI mode and Windows 10 32bit MUST be Legacy - MBR (again we need to see your computer specs)
I suggest you build the USB Win 10 22h2 installation drive using MCT so it can boot as Legacy or UEFI (Win 64 bits only).

Almost all "new" (15 years) computers has a "One time Boot Menu" so you can launch it during POST to select a different drive to boot from. In some computers you launch the "One time Boot Menu" pressing F12, F8, Esc, F2 etc.

If you have the Win 10 22h2 32 bits installation iso you can make the Win 10 22h2 installation drive.
To make a Win 10 USB boot able drive, open a CMD window as administrator and type:

    diskpart
list disk (it will list all drives. Identify the USB drive number)
select disk n (replace n by the USB drive number obtained with list disk)
    clean
    convert mbr
    create part primary
    select part 1
    format fs=fat32 quick
    assign
    active
    exit (to exit diskpart)
On Win 10, mount the iso file and copy all files and folders to the USB drive.
The USB will boot as Legacy to install as Legacy-MBR.

After you boot the Win 10 USB boot able drive go to install and delete all partitions on the target drive and then proceed.
