Showkey Plus is a good tool to show you if there is a product key in BIOS, what product Windows is using, and what editions they are for:

I did not join the Alldocube forums, just googled it.

I have a convertible laptop, what is your question?
ok tell me if you fold the screen all the back so that you can use it in tablet mode i understand the keyboard turns off correct? i want to put the screen all the way back and then connect the pc to a monitor, and have the screen down and the keyboard up for use. is there a way to do this? maybe by activating the second screen before the laptop screen is folded back over behind the keyboard?

ok thanks please let me know what you find out. if it works that will save me taking the screens off the laptops so that i can set the laptops in front of the monitors. as it is now i had to take the screens off my probooks so i could set the pc in front of and a bit under the monitors. we are getting old enough that we needed larger screens. thanks

I have a Dell, it's restarting now from doing updates. But in tablet mode, the built-in keyboard and mouse pad disconnected and the backlight turned off regardless if an external monitor was connected to it or not. I tried both in duplicate and second monitor only projection modes and tried it with the laptop in tablet mode sitting on the table with keyboard up and display down.

To use the laptop as you suggest, I would recommend attaching an external keyboard and mouse via USB, leave the laptop in the standard closed position.

In tablet mode, an external keyboard and mouse continue to work. It is a Dell Inspiron 7773.
