Where to find Win 11 Key for REinstallation

    Hello,
I have just received my brand new laptop Dell Vostro 7620 with Windows 11 Preinstalled. So I installed and activate Windows 11. Everything works just fine.

In fact, that several applications are preinstalled (McAafee, Office 365, One drive, Dell Apps ...) and of which I have no use, I intend to reinstall Windows 11 from scratch.
I would like to know, can I reinstall Win 11 Pro and activate it with that recovered key?
In that case, as the Product Key would be embedded in the UEFI Firmware chip, how to recover it for Win 11 Pro Reinstallation?

BTW, is there a utility to find the Product Key? I tested ShowKeyPlus, it doesn't help

    I'll appreciate yr help
    Regards

click ACPI table then click MSDM tab

Really? You are going to dis superfly's Showkey Plus?
    ShowKeyPlus

Somebody should come along in the next couple of posts and explain why the product key is not required, though.

Oh well, someone has to say it.

You don't need to find the key yourself. When you do a clean install Setup will read the key from the firmware.

It is possible the laptop did not have an embedded key depending on where it was purchased from but even then, it should activate automatically with a digital licence.

I do not know why showkeyplus did not work - this makes me wonder if pc has been activated by pc seller with some sort of volume licence key?
@coukou - where did you buy pc?

    Hi,
TNX for yr quick reply. I bought my PC directly from Dell. I received it yesterday ... so it is brand new and very recent.
How can I know if my BIOS contains the key? In which BIOS section should I find it?
BTW, I installed win11 with a local account (NOT MS account)

Dell tech support don't know... Very bad
Dell have no more support in France. They externalize it to Morocco.
