How to update from 21H1(19043) to 21H2(19044)

I'd like to do an update to 19044.1682, but pressing windows update button doesn't pickup the latest, while running the April 25, 2022 - KB5011831 update manually only displays the message the update is already installed.

What's the correct procedure to perform the update from 21H1(19043) to 21H2(19044) ?

If you are up to date then your system already has the 21H2 features in its system files, but dormant. You simply need to install a small (165KB) Enablement Package which will turn them on. It installs like a cumulative update, just takes a few minutes.

The KB5003791 Enablement Package allows you to go from 2004, 20H1, or 21H1 to 19044 (v21H2).

The 'potential security risk' is that the link is for a download from Microsoft's http download server. Firefox is complaining that it isn't a secure https connection. You can tell Firefox to download it anyway. Click the > at the right of the warning.





Until last month when MS finally fixed their links, every download from the Microsoft Update Catalog gave that same security warning.
