Win 10 Won't Boot After latest Update

My Win 10 machine installed the latest update of Win 10 two days ago. The next time I turned it on, it would not boot, but I was able to reach the BIOS using F2/Delete. Today, however, I can't even do that. I do have Macrium rescue media, etc. What is the best way to go about this.

    Hi Bob,

You can try booting the Macrium Rescue USB, then try the repair boot problems option to see if you get anywhere with that.

Do you have a current MR backup image?

It's always best to make one before installing the Windows updates, for the rare time things go south like this.

How do I boot the Rescue USB without getting to the BIOS? I usually have a backup, but this update snuck up on me.

If you put the media in, does anything show up on the screen at all? PC manufacturer logo, any BIOS messages, etc?

Have you confirmed video cable is connected correctly and monitor is powered up, etc, if applicable?

Depending on your PC, you could try resetting the BIOS with a BIOS reset jumper or take the CMOS coin battery out for 20 minutes to try and reset the BIOS.

I get the same message with and without the USB in: ASUS logo and press DEL or F2 to reach UEFI BIOS setting. Monitor is working. I have no idea what the BIOS jumper or CMOS coin are .

What happens if you press DEL or F2? Can you select the option to boot from USB?

Nothing happens pressing either key. I can't reach the BIOS to change boot options. This did happen before, but I was able to reach the BIOS, but not this time after several attempts.

Try a different keyboard or different USB port for the keyboard. If you turn your PC off, hold down the DEL key, then keep it held down and turn on the PC, any difference?
