Where to download an old version of windows 10?

The laptop that I use for my field work is somewhat old, but functional, but at the beginning of January I formatted it and installed the new version of windows 10, 20H2. The problem is that since then it has given me many problems, performance and stability.

I want to go back to the version I had before, I don't know what it was exactly, but it was the one before 20H1. In fact, when I had that version, windows update told me that the machine was not ready for the update. I regret not having listened to him.

So I'm looking for a way to go back to the version I am telling you about. I am afraid to download an image of those that swarm on YouTube or other places, I am worried that they will have some surprises.

So I turn to the experts, so they can recommend a safe method to get it, if possible.

My laptop comes with a factory license, for windows 10 home single language 64 bits, Spanish from Mexico.

If you have then clicked on the respective build with the architecture (x86 / amd64 / arm64) you need you will get to the next page where you can select the language:


Select the language and click on next.

In the next window you can choose which editions the ISO should contain:


When done click on next again.

In the last selection window you can see on the right-hand side which build number the ISO to be created has.
Which language the ISO contains.
And which editions it contains and which download size.


On the left side the creation of an ISO is preselected and optionally you can select the integration of NetFramework 3.5.

But only as it says there when you create the ISO on a Windows computer.

Another option available is to create an install.esd instead of install.wim, which makes the main installation file smaller.

An Install.esd is also downloaded when an ISO is created with the Media Creation Tool.

When you have checked everything and/or changed an option, click on "Create download package".

Then download a small zip package that contains various scripts.


Unzip the downloaded package and you will see the following scripts:

To create an ISO on Windows, run the "uup_download_windows.cmd" script as an administrator.

The files required to create an ISO are then downloaded from Microsoft's servers, and the ISO will creat.

The ISO is finally in the same folder as the script.

I ask why they weigh too much. I remember having downloaded the 1909 version in its day and it fit perfectly on a normal DVD, the image that is downloaded from TechBench far exceeds the capacity of one.
