18362 and 18363 share the same base code. The enablement package will bump it to 18363. You're fine. You've got it!
From where can I obtain the Win 10 1909 Enablement Package?
Well, perhaps what I have is good enough without going thru this again in an enablement package!

    Thank you all!

The Enablement Package is just a Cumulative and runs real quick. Restart and you're on 18363. But that's up to you.

    You're welcome!

OK, got it now! However I had asked for 18363.1256 and I see that it built 18362..

That is perfectly normal. The system files for 1903 and 1909 are identical. The enablement package to turn on the dormant 1909 features is included in any 1909 ISO and will be installed at the same time as installing the OS, bumping the major build up by 1 to 18363.

This caused a lot of confusion back when 1909 was first released, but as Brink demonstrated at the time you will end up with 18363 installed...

Windows 10 pro 64 Bit Version 21H1 (OS Build 19043.844)

So I have asked this in a seperate post and got a reply but am still confused. I have windows 10 pro. Im on the insider preview program Dev Channel. My windows is version 2004 build 21301.rs_prerelease.210123-1645. I see there are version 2009, 20H2. So my question isbeing that im in the insider program..Will I only get updates for version 2004? I wont be automatically updated to 20H2 through windows updates? and if not Why? So I have to go through all the rigamarole of downloading 20H2 and installing it on my own then? If yes then I dont want to lose all my files and programs I have installed, can someone simply answer my questions and if I have to install seperately and not through settings,, updates then can someone point me to the proper post or instructions of how to do so please. I have looked at many posts but theres so much information and people giving ten different ways of doing so I just want the easiest method to upgrade. Im not a noob and can make it happen on my own just need the initial answer and maybe a link.

I'm not sure if all your issues can be answered in one reply, because you have raised quite a few.

Simply put, if you are on Insider, any channel, and wish to go back to regular public release RTM, you must do a clean install. A clean install does not, cannot, save anything, so you will need to reinstall your apps and copy back your user data and do any custom settings manually. That's the way it is and there is no way around it.

    Clean Install Windows 10

Before you do the clean install, make an image copy of your system, for safety reasons. It's just prudent. Copy any and all data/files on your C: partition off to another removable media. That will be used to copy back. The system image can also be used to find and copy back your data if an app such as Macrium or similar is used to create the backup.

Make sure you have any license keys available for licensed apps you own.

This looks like it may be the other post you referred to:

Thank You and I think I will keep what I built. I would say my issue is resolved but others have asked other questions so should I say this is resolved...for me anyway. OH another thing about getting this is that 1909 fits on a single layer DVD-RW.
