From where can I obtain the Win 10 1909 Enablement Package?

Now that the 1909 ISO images are officially released on MSDN, I'm wondering if anyone knows where the enablement package can be obtained.

    More Information

Windows 10 1909 is basically no different from 1903. In fact, going forward, 1903 and 1909 will share all the same update packages. Rather than having to install 1909 from scratch or doing an entire upgrade using the 1909 ISO images, there is apparently an "enablement package" that enables the changes in 1909 and modifies the build from 18362.x to 18363.x.

Anyone know if this enablement package is available yet or is it only the full ISO images that have been released so far?

Thank you. I very much appreciate the pointer. Unfortunately, that does not seem to be it. Build still shows a 18362.x.

I guess that it simply may not have been released publicly yet, even though the ISO images have been posted to MSDN.

No worries. I'm guessing it will likely only be a matter of days before it is released publicly anyway.

    Thanks again for your efforts!

`The ISO’s are there for Enterprise to test on their systems. I still am having issues with the rollup KB, which is supposed to be resolved by the end of the month. Dealt with a pulled update on my iPad for the Public beta. Both MS and Apple are having issues with rollup updates, with underlying security and other changes happening.

And to think I just downloaded the 1909 ISO file, mounted it, and ran setup.exe like I always have done in the past. 15 minutes later the upgrade to 1909 was complete.

The enablement package will be available from windows update once 1909 is released. That is how this 'feature update' will work, a method that has already been tested on Insiders. The target date for release is said to be 12th November so you shouldn't have long to wait now.

    Microsoft said:
To offer a clarification on these releases – 19H1 and 19H2 share the same servicing content. That means they share the same Cumulative Update package. For the small subset of Windows Insiders (the 10%) in Release Preview who were given the option to install 19H2, an enablement package is downloaded from Windows Update that turns on the 19H2 features. This *changes* the build number for the OS from 19H1 Build 18362 to 19H2 Build 18363.

Yes and no. The only place I know of where you can get it is UUPDump here: 'Feature Update to Windows 10, 1909 (18363.418)'. Normally you'd use UUPDump to make the ISO. Aria then downloads all the individual packages and builds an ISO from them.

Click on the appropriate link, x86 or amd64 but DON'T click Next to download it. Instead, click 'All files'. The enablement package is KB4517245, find it in the (long) list of files and there's a link to download it on its own. You'll need to copy the name of the link, use that to rename the file after you download it.

...but I'm gong to restore this back to its 1903 Macrium image and wait for the official release
