So does this mean that the 20h2 would be automatically loaded after that date or will I need to try an update as I did tell Windows Update to not notify me?

With Microsoft there are no guarantees of anything. You might get the notification to upgrade in Windows Update or you might not.

I typically update about the day a new version is released but for systems where I want to wait, I like to use the following strategy:

    1) Make a complete image backup.
    2) Perform a test upgrade to the new version just so that I know that all is okay. If not, troubleshoot to solve any difficulties.
    3) Revert back using my saved image.

The whole purpose of the above is so that I have no surprise on the day forced update occurs. This way I will have all the kinks worked out before I'm under pressure to upgrade.

Yes, I agree and that is why I use my paid Macrium Reflect to do a complete image before I update. Just wondered when MS would force the update.

OK, I got the ISO and went to show the version as I do have the ESD. It does show 10.0.19041 631.

However, it will not fit on my DVD so does this mean that we need a dual layer now? I do have plenty of them but am surprised at how big Windows has gotten! I had been told before that selecting both 32 and 64 bit would make it this big, but I did select 64 bit and it was still too big.

Yes, the Windows 10 ISO files require a double layer DVD.

You don't have to make a DVD, you can also make a bootable USB from the ISO file. That's what I do, make an x86+x64 ISO with the MCT then use it to make the USB.

OK, I will look again but I must say that my 3 systems have dvd drives and they boot just fine. Even if they may be slower than usb it would be the least of my problems if I had to reinstall!
