    As I always suggest. Use Audit mode to finish the install, install drivers, do updates, etc...

    I agree with NavyLCDR.

    For the Drivers, have a look at this . . .

    > How to Backup and Restore Device Drivers in Windows 10

    I hope this helps.

    1. What some are suggesting is that you download a newer version of the Windows Home ISO and put THAT on your USB stick.
    Create Bootable USB Flash Drive to Install Windows 10

    2. When you install Windows Home on your daughters PC, temporarily unhook all SSDs or hard drives EXCEPT the one you are installing Windows on.

    3. Also unhook the internet completely, BEFORE you start the install. This way you won't need a Microsoft account during install.
    It is exactly what I would do.

    I would add:

    4. When you reach the OOBE screen to create a user, put your daughter name and when finished check Device Manager to see if all drivers have been installed. Shut down the computer and give it to her.

    I have the latest version on a USB stick. As I said before I only wrote that version because THIS site asked for the version at the top of the page before posting. I wrote the current version on the PC not the one on the USB stick. Some confusion I believe here and anyway it wasn't what I was asking in the first place.

    @ash55

    If you have the latest version already on the USB stick, then you're good to go.

    Just make sure you unhook the internet, and any drives, you're NOT installing Windows on..

    During the install, when it starts asking you if you want this or that...just choose Skip or ask me later...etc.

    I'm giving my old PC to my daughter and would like to do a clean install of W10 Home 1909. I have a copy of it on USB and I've installed Windows many times before.

    I have the answer to my question from Ghot. Some folks went off on a tangent that wasn't my question. Thanks.
