Reset your BIOS to default factory settings to see installation problem resolves.
Select Drive 0, Partition 3 to install Windows. That is the large one.

So I ended up deleting all the partitions and making my own 40 GB one by hitting new and that stopped the error from happening until the very end before "finishing up" when the same error popped up again.
The error says: Windows could not prepare the computer to boot into the next phase of instillation. To install Windows, restart the installation.
If I try to run it again it either doesn't let me or it gives me the error again immediately.
Detach ALL other drives from the MB (SATA or power cable) leaving on only the target drive.
Reset BIOS or load defaults.
Set Disk mode to AHCI, not RAID
Disable fast boot and secure boot (you can turn it on after installation)
Windows can be installed in two ways: Legacy-MBR or UEFI-GPT
To install as Legacy-MBR you must boot the installation drive as Legacy
To install as UEFI-GPT you must boot the installation drive as UEFI.
During POST, press F12 to launch the boot menu. You will see two options for the USB drive. USB UEFI (Name) and USB (Name). Select USB UEFI (Name).
Go to install and delete ALL partitions on the SSD till you have one and only one unallocated space and then proceed.
Did you ever use the SSD you are trying to install to with a different OS?
If yes, you could try to CLEAN it of all residue. For this you would go into the "Repair my Computer" WinRE/PE environment which is on the screen where you select your Language and Keyboard setting when booting off the MCT created Windows Install USB stick, and through the Command interface you invoke DISKPART, SELECT DISK then CLEAN.
The SSD is brand new and is the only drive in my computer right now. I also double checked that my bios settings were as @Megahertz suggested. I have cleaned my drive a few times and re-made the USB. I've looked at people having similar issues and it seems to all stem from the fact that I used a mac to download the iso and create the boot drive.
Would it be possible for me to get a friend with a windows computer to make a folder with all the files for me and just send me them somehow so I can just drag them into my drive?
If this is really the issue here, you could make Linux USB, start it (from USB no need to install) and make USB installation drive with it.
There are alternatives on MAC too. Like UNetbootin
Or Start Windows 10 in Virtual machine (Virtualbox) and make installation USB there.

Select the USB drive. How many bytes are in it? (should be 4.56G for Win 10 2010)
If you download the Win 10 iso file, all you have to do is to extract all files and folders to a USB Fat32 drive.
If you have the Win 10 iso file and a friend with a Win 10 computer, take the iso file to his computer and then format the USB drive as bellow.
Open a CMD window as administrator and type:
diskpart
list disk (it will list all drives. Identify the USB drive number)
select disk n (replace n by the USB drive number obtained with list disk)
clean
convert mbr
create part primary
select part 1
format fs=fat32 quick
assign
active
exit (to exit diskpart)
Now go to where you have the Win 10 iso file, right click and select Mount.
On the Virtual disk created, select all files and folders and copy to the USB Fat32 drive.
On your computer, boot the USB drive as UEFI, go to install, delete all the partitions and proceed.
