Just found out Microsoft will not let you upgrade to Windows 10 . . .

    Hi Guys & Gals
As the title say's "Just found out Microsoft will not let you upgrade to Windows 10 if you are running a 32 bit machine, it has to be 64 bit.
Tried several times to download the "Media Creation Tool" and it just stick's or (not responding)

Anyway after a long search I think I have found the result

Media Creation Tool Download (2020 Latest) for Windows 10, 8, 7
This is just finishing off now, the result FAILED so i have gone back to Win 7 32 bit

If anybody has a working link that will allow 32 bit architecture to install Windows 10 I would appreciate it.

Hi, both 32 and 64 bit versions are available using the MS media creation tool:

If you still can't download it, see the tutorial on how to download a Win 10 iso file and try- as that says - e.g. the Heidoc iso downloader or another option there.

Whether there are Win 10 drivers available compatible with your machine and what problems you might experience is, of course, another matter.

Before attempting to upgrade, you will need to uninstall any security software, disconnect unnecessary peripherals, ensure your BIOS is current, and that you have at least 30Gb free space on C:

You should also create a current disk image of your existing system to fall back on if all goes haywire.

It is MS's intent at some point not to support 32 bits.

Not everyone is confident about using build 20H2 - the current build-

    Hi there
I have seen on one of the pages that I have visited that they "Microsoft" are not supporting 32 bit anymore.
    If I find the page I will edit it here . . . . . . .

You probably means this. Only OEM's are affected.

Haven't seen anything other from Microsoft but some "flavors" of Linux are dropping their 32-bit/x86 versions.
