unable to install windows 10 using usb
Hello guys, Need help with this.
I have tried multiple trials and test but most of the time I ended on some new error. I hope you experts can help me resolve this issue.
My machine is sony vaio svf15319snb.
i am trying to install windows 10 pro 64bit using a 32GB usb pendrive. The pendrive is currently having windows files which i downloaded using windows media creation tool.
Current issue -
Laptop is booted with UEFI boot mode with priority set to external drive. It gets to the windows install dialog box. when i click on install, it shows me this error -
Name - drive 0 unallocated space
Total size - 0.0 MB
Free space - 0.0 MB
Error - Windows can't be installed on this drive. This partition is too small. Make the size of this partition at least 9593MB or select another program.
Action - I create on New and put size 28000 MB and click apply.
Error - after clicking apply it says "the size must be at most 0MB".
Action - If I click on Refresh, Nothing happens but In legacy mode after refresh, the "Drive 0 unallocated space" is not there.
Delete, Extend, Format options are not clickable.
