    Win 10 2004 boot problems

I am stumped. I have installed and reinstalled Wind 10 2004 several times with no problems. I've tried both a clean install and an upgrade from 1909. Things are fine until the next day when I boot my PC I have to run through the last 5 or 6 screens of the Windows setup again. Then I get the "Enjoy Windows" and everything seems fine again. I've never had this happen with any other version of Windows. What's wrong? I must be doing something wrong.
    Thanks

My advice, just stay with 1909, it works great, there`s no reason to update to 2004 yet, it`s way too soon. Give it another 3 or 4 months at least.

What method are you trying ? UEFI Mode on a GPT Disk ?

Did you delete the entire disk to unallocated space ?

Did you unplug the power from any/all other drives before you start the install ?

What are you using for an installer when you try to do a clean install ?

    Hello,

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    Yes, I'm using UEFI.
Yes, I deleted the entire SSD to unallocated space.
Yes, No other devices were even plugged in, except keyboard, mouse, and internet. Also, I unplugged my 2 HHDs.
I have been using Windows Media CreationTool for years with no problems until now.

I have been doing a clean install of Windows as soon as a new version was released since Windows 98SE. This is the first time ever I have had a problem with any new version.

I tried 3 clean installs of 2004, which weren't good. The last thing I tried was a clean install of 1909, then an upgrade through Windows Update, which seemed to work like clock-work.
I've never done a "roll-back to the previous version" before. Does that leave all apps and data intact? Or should I do a clean install of 1909?
    Thanks again for the help.

That's not new for 2004, though it shouldn't happen every time you boot up. It is only supposed to pop up once in a while. I have seen it in 1909 too, most often after a cumulative update.

    See if this tutorial helps....
