Thanks a lot Dalchina for your helpful reply, I will have another go at installing later on after following the above steps that you outlined.
Probably will wait three months at least and then re-download the ISO just in case Microsoft have updated it, which might contain some bug fixes that are currently preventing me from installing.
Well here's hoping anyways.

Thanks Zbook, I probably have so many drivers for different things on my pc three epson printers just to give an example, so if it is really that, will be a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack as they say.
But will give it a go once again, hopefully fourth time lucky, though its not looking good at the moment, with so many failed attempts.
At least 1909 is working great for me, and hopefully Microsoft will provide other security and other updates for it for a good while to come if I can't upgrade to 2004.
I have 152 GB of data on this partition including Windows 0S, lots of music making software etc, so it would be a real pain just to do a clean install as it usually takes me months and months to rebuild an OS from Scratch.
I do have lots of Acronis image backups though when I reach the point of having the system the way i want it.
Thanks Joe
