Dual boot Win7 & Win10 on same HDD - How to eliminate Win7?

I had a single hard drive with Windows 7 on it and then created another partition and loaded Windows 10 on that resulting in a dual boot setup.I want to eliminate the dual boot setup and delete the partition with windows 7 on it leaving a single partition with only Windows 10.How can I do that without totally messing up the MBR and the booting process? Thanks!

The windows 7 partition is active and that's what you boot from. So all the boot files will be on that partition if you delete it you would have to grow windows 10 set it active then have to do a repair. It may be simpler to delete both windows and reinstall 10

The simple fix is to run:
    bcdboot C:/Windows /s C:

Then make the C: partition active. Situation can be fixed in less than 5 minutes without having to restore or reinstall anything. If a separate System partition is desired, that is easily created as well.

To remove the Windows 7 partition and expand the Windows 10 partition into the free space will require Minitool Partition Wizard.

Everyone seems to be making this way more complicated and lengthy than it needs to be.

Worked like a charm. Command used was "bcdboot C:\Windows /s C:"

    Thank you so much!
