How to rollback to version 1709

Currently on version 1803 and having stuttering issues on a game (Rocket League if it helps). I've went through numerous attempts at troubleshooting what's wrong with the game and the general consensus is that it is this version of Windows.

I have an active license with this version of windows so my questions are: how do I rollback to version 1709 and do I maintain my license? (I don't have a serial key).

    All input welcome, cheers.

You will have to do a clean install of version 1709 and then block updates.

10 day period for me has passed to rollback manually on Windows so where do I find the .iso for 1709?

When you do the clean install and it asks for a key, click 'I don't have a product key'. Then choose the same edition (Home or Pro) as you had before. As soon as it can connect to the internet it will activate automatically from your digital licence stored on the Microsoft activation servers.

A digital licence is valid for all versions of Windows 10, from the original version 1507 up to the latest 1803, but it is only valid for one editon, Home or Pro.

Thanks both. Will attempt this now and keep updates if anything goes wrong.

FWIW there is an example of a very similar problem with 1803 where the user acquired a low level driver from 1709 and used that in 1803. Needed analysis with the Windows Performance Recorder.

Note: if your PC is 'older' and not rated by your manufacturer for use with 1803, there are, of course, no guarantees.

Laptop isn't a even a year old yet. Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series. How do I use the WPR?

Running into issues actually running the setup for the 1709 build. I don't have a USB or DVD for the .iso so I'm virtually mounting the .iso setup and it's giving me errors; -

UXLIB.DLL is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. 0xc0000020
    SPEWIZENG.DLL " " " "
    WDSCORE.DLL " " " "
    UNATTEND.DLL " " " "

Then autorun.dll could not be loaded or is corrupt. 0xC1

I'm assuming this is because the file is corrupted or didn't download properly or because I'm using virtual mounting software to run the setup. Any suggestions?

    Press Windows key + I.
    Click Update & security.
    Select Recovery.
Click on the Get started button under Go back to an earlier build section. The process will start and you will be asked some questions for information purposes.
For detailed instructions and additional procedures on how you can perform this option, see this forum article: How to Use the Rollback Function in Windows 10 1709, 1703 and Earlier Versions of Windows 10.
Tried this, doesn't work after the 10 day period. This will only give you the option to reset your PC with the choice of a clean install or keeping your files.

You can get a 1709 iso quite easily, posted a number of times on this forum e.g.
