I doubt you'll see this being that it's 3 years old but here goes. I have that same card I'm trying to use in a win 7 system. The game driver did not work very well at all. It operates worse than the onboard in the a-83870k. I was advised toi try the studio but I can't find it. Are you using 7 or 10 with that driver?

NOTE:
After I updated to the 537.58 recently I had problems.
Despite that HDR was turned off in Windows it was apparently on and resulted in a peculiar one second tact Flickr in certain program windows and menus, i.e. toolbar.
A full install and clean reinstall did not resolve it.
However, reinstalling the predecessor version 537.13 the new problem disappeared again!
Is anyone having this problem with Nvidia GPU drivers released in the past month? NVDisplay.Container.exe Stopped Working
My support request with Nvidia concluded this appears to be a bug and asked my to send a driver feedback report.
I only experienced problem with 537.58 and downgraded back to 537.13. As mentioned in my post #1395
I would never jump immediately on a new release as the likelihood of something not working the way it should is all too common in this industry. The 546.01 is kind of a silent giveaway that likely there has been an issue with 546.0.
