    That makes sense.
I'm more surprised that the Game Ready goes all the way back to 472. Haven't there been a few since then? (I haven't been paying attention - distracted by work!).
I'm concerned they are dropping the standard driver altogether.
I update through GFE and that swapped me from a Standard driver to DCH some time ago so I think you may be right. They say there is no difference in functionality.

Standard drivers are no more. 472.12 will be the last "Standard" Game Ready driver.
472.84 will be the last "Standard" NVIDIA Studio Driver. DCH drivers from here on out.

From my own personal experience the DCH drivers seem to work just as well as Standard.
I haven't had any problems with them that I can attribute to the change to DCH package.

    ymmv

Tested severely in Win 10/11 , I did not encounter any difference , so will keep using DCH ...........

The problem with the DCH was the Control Panel. Which you had to add separately through the Microsoft Store. Which aggravates the crap out of me. I've never used the MS store. Another chore. More steps. Totally inefficient.

So no options going through the NVIDIA Driver Downloads (DCH or Standard) on the first page?

I'm pretty sure they have corrected that issue. The control panel is included in the install now.
But you would have to give it a try for yourself, as I have the store enabled on my computer.
