Need help changing where new content is saved.

Hi. I recently bought a new laptop(MSI GT62VR Dominator/Pro) and have been loving it but I'm having a problem.
Everything is being saved to This PC which is only 238GB and Im trying to have stuff be saved to Data which is 914GB. Does anyone know how to change it to where apps, games, documents...etc be saved to Data instead of This PC? I've already went into settings>storage>change where new content is saved, and changed it to where everything is being saved to Data instead of This PC but its still having everything save to This PC. Thank you.

If using a browser when you download....you change the download location in your browser settings. Example: Chrome, settings, advanced, downloads....by default....chrome has it set to C:\Users\PCName\Downloads. Then just click the change tab (the word change) and change it to your new location. Then do the same for all other browsers you use.

I'm against moving system made folders to another drive/partition but could be done. Best way for me is to set browser and other downloaders to save to secondary disk to specified folder(s), they'll remember and do it like that from then on. .Exe are going to D:/Downloads. pictures to D:/ pictures etc. All set from browsers. As for games and programs they would have to have that option for it to work.

Junction links are a good way to do this. In effect, you still write to C :\users\ .... As normal, but junction link diverts actual files to another drive.

    It is reversible as well.
