    So I can login now it just takes a little longer than normal. I might try a fresh install. But not too sure if I should

    Since you are now able to log in I would go ahead and back up your data and do a fresh install. Keep in mind you will need to re-install any programs you currently have installed as well. One other thing you could try before doing this is check the health of your HDD. If it tests fine then go ahead with the clean install. If it's starting to fail, or in a caution state, I would replace it then install Windows. Just my thoughts here.
