Just a quick note: AMP WinOFF caught my attention.
    Description

AMP WinOFF is an utility for scheduling the shutdown of Windows computers, with several shutdown conditions and fully configurable. Some of its features are:
    • Several modes/conditions for shutdown planification:
      • At certain date/time (e.g. 12:00 AM).
      • After a period of time (e.g. 1 hour and 15 minutes).
      • When there isn't user activity (i.e. no mouse/keyboard input).
      • When there isn't CPU activity.
      • When there isn't network activity.
    • Option of set several conditions at the same time for the planification. Examples:
      • Shut down at 08:00 PM or when there is no user activity for 15 minutes.
      • Shut down when the CPU load is below than 1% and the network transfer is below than 1Kb/s.
    • Several types of shutdown: power off, restart, close session, lock session, administrative shutdown/restart, sleep and hibernate.
    • Immediate shutdown and session lock from the taskbar icon menu.
    • Several security options including anti-close protection and password protected access to the configuration.
    • Option of showing a display with the active shutdown planification.
    • Option of executing a program, capturing the desktop, and/or hang up the modem before the shutdown.
    • Command line support for batch processing.
    • Dual English/Spanish version.
    carry on :)

    Hi Jcorella17,

I would like you to try a few things:
    1. Please remove all USB devices except for the mouse & keyboard and check your mouse & keyboard for driver updates
    2. Please reinstall Malwarebytes using a fresh download, but do NOT activate using a trial or your activation creditials

    3. Please remove all games from Steam and Steam
    4. Please remove all apps from the Windows Store you currently do not need.
    5. If the power plan is not high performance, please change it to high performance.
    6. Please try to update the BIOS to the newest version

    7. Please remove programs you currently do NOT need.
    8. Please disable hardware acceleration in Chrome if it is enabled
      • In the right upper corner, click on and choose settings.
      • Scroll below and click on 'advanced settings', scroll all the way to the end of the settings.
      • In the part 'system' is the option to enable/disable hardware acceleration.
      • If this option is enabled disable it

    9. Please run Ccleaner and delete the event logs (check 'Windows Error Reporting' & 'Windows Log Files'), reproduce the problem a few times & run the DM Log Collector again.

There are many error logs from Malwarebytes and Steam + games, I do not believe they are causing issue but we need to get your system a bit cleaner of all those kinds of error logs so we can find the root cause more easier :)Please remove programs you currently do NOT need.

We could try driver verifier to see if that reveals anything, but I would first like to see if above suggestions make any improvements :)
Thanks for your response @axe0. I know you are busy. We appreciate it. :)

I have steam & Most of the games installed on my secondary HDD, can I just unplug that instead of uninstalling them?

    EDIT:
Could I just disable steam's automatic startup and not run any games until I get a few DM logs? (Because that's about 500 GB of files that will have to be uninstalled/re-downloaded)

I've found that my BIOS is out of date by a year... I have the update ready to install but the tutorials they offer on the website are all for UEFI, this motherboard only has Legacy.

I am not sure that would be the same thing. Let's ask @axe0.

Where did you locate that BIOS? Where does it mention UEFI?

Here's what I found on MSI

Support For 760GMA-P34 (FX) | MSI USA | Motherboard
    Type: AMI BIOS
    Language: English
    Release Date: 2014-04-20
    Version: P.1
    File Size: 1.33 MB:
    Description: - Added DMI information.

The tutorials MSI gives for updating the bios (At the bottom of that page) are all done in UEFI, I only have legacy

Also I found my BIOS version inside my system info Click image for larger version.

It's from 2013, so it's not the most recent one (2014)

    Ok thanks,

I'm fairly certain that the P1 BIOS is ok for Legacy/CMS boot ... not 100% certain though.

I also read a few pages of the manual, which did not clarify anything for me. Searching the MSI forum was circular - kept coming back to the same place .

So, I would wait until another member can give you more assurance.

Let me ask this: What option is available in BIOS - can you change it from Legacy to anything else?
I'm not sure where to look, perhaps Advanced or Boot (the manual has different options than a search for AMI BIOS)
Don't change it - just look.

I've just searched the BIOS and found nothing related to boot mode.

The important thing is that Steam and the games don't write error logs anymore, if this can be done by not using Steam and playing games then it would be good enough :)

I would like to confirm that Steam does not write error logs anymore, ths can be done with following steps:

    1. run Ccleaner to clean the event logs so we cannot blame Steam when someone is half awake or sleepy,
    2. do not use Steam,
    3. reproduce the problem and
    4. upload a new zip from the DM Log Collector.

NOTE: Steam cannot be active in the background!
