So strange that unknowingly, I had been doing the same thing over the years until a while ago when a teenage nerd friend told me "sleep mode is much better and shut down is unnecessary." So, for the last three years, I very seldom, if at all, shut down. I was mostly asleep and never hibernating. The same teenage nerd friend (now in college) just recently retracted: "overnight shut down, now and then is OK and don't worry about battery. Today's batteries are smart. They shut down when critically discharged to avoid discharging all the way down to Zero and never allow themselves to overcharge." So, that means being plugged in all the time is harmless.

Make sure the quality of your battery is good.
Just because we are moving into the future doesn't mean that the technology is improving.

    Examples:
    • There's a car here at the household that, every few months or so, there is a recall on it because of a safety issue that it has.
    • It apparently happens: I've seen a rather new Tesla (maybe a few years old) that one of its brake lights was out. Saw it when I was driving.

So make sure your battery is "quality".

Recently, I did battery evaluation and as usual I cannot understand the result:

Okay, here's what I did. In your PDF file, I found the Model Number/Name of the battery:
    > TI04055XL

I did an online search, and found this. It's a replacement battery. This apparently has great reviews, overall:
High Quality HP TI04055XL Replacement Battery | Laptop Battery Direct

Yet I wanted to find the exact one you have. I found this (it says HP in the top-left corner, while the rest is almost 100% exactly the same):
    https://www.ebay.com/p/21057367605

Hence, I believe HP got this same exact battery, and added their logo to it.

So in summation, your battery is pretty good. I don't think you would need to replace it any time soon.
    👌😊👍

Oh, thanks for the battery ID. This is my W11 HP (the other, 12 months older, is W10) and it is a refurbished model that I took a chance with without clear expectation (it cost $600.00 less). Turns out, I totally lucked out. It is now nearly three years old and in top shape. I am not surprised that the battery is not original. But I'm glad to know that it is a high-quality tip-top HP replacement and still in good working condition, per results of battery evaluation (I have no idea how to interpret those results).

Glad your other computer worked out well.
You say: "Let's make a deal."
Your seller be like: "It's a deal."
    Me: "Good deal."

Also, you say "I am not surprised that the battery is not original."
That's correct. Some companies use other companies' products sometimes.

Example: I still have the old fashined iPod Video 80GB.
I was surprised that once I opened it up to fix/replace something, that the hard drive was a Toshiba hard drive. I still remember it because of how surprised I was at seeing that.

And the battery results, I did a quick skim-through. I saw all 100%. So it should be in really good shape.
