[SOLVED] [W10] How to keep only one keyboard layout?

    Hello,

To solve another problem, I made a change in the keyboard section, and now, Windows displays two of them instead of just one like before :-/

It's the US version of Windows, with France + French as locale.

I can't figure out how to get back to a single keyboard (FR). Any idea?

    Thank you.

I have a similar problem as I have a US computer and keyboard but my region is Brazil and Win 11 insist to load a Brazilian keyboard option. What I want is International US keyboard.
Keyboard setup is a nightmare in Win 10 and 11.
Settings - Time and Language - Language and region
Below Preferred language where I can see French (France). On the right there are ... (three dots). click on it and and select Language Options. On the bottom of the Language Options page you can select the US keyboard and on the ... (three dots), click on it and and select Remove

Try going to Region, and make sure you have it set as France, and see if you can change things around.

I don't have that option, hence this thread :-/

There's no mention of US locale in the Region section.

This kung-fu seems to work: The FRA/ENG language thingie in the taskbar is gone.

Expecting that kind of problem, I wasn't thrilled about making changes in Windows' Settings originally to solve that other problem I had.

    Thank you.
